That Time MLK Was on The Boondocks

There’s probably something to offend everybody in this outspoken animated episode…and I reckon that’s as it should be. Rather than complacently ushering someone into sainthood without thought, we should still be discussing their ideas, and if they were truly revolutionary, those thoughts should not necessarily be safe all the time.
Funnily enough, this episode was psychic – Oliver Stone did just try to do an MLK biopic. Can’t imagine why his family would object to such a thing.
I’m told the estate & the ‘respectable’ black community that guard King’s reputation won't approve it. They suffocate the man & the truth.

Apologies if this strikes anybody as overly political. I ask only that we all be respectful to those with whom we disagree…and that you imagine what could have ensued if I had instead posted the New World Order/X-Men/MLK videos I just watched on YouTube. Good Cthulhu, that shit was nuts.
