Meaningless Superhero Movie News Trifecta: Justice League, Iron Man 3, Lego Batman

? Warner Bros. told the L.A. Times that their Justice League movie would be released in 2015. I guess the L.A. Times believed them, because they made a news article about it. Ignoring the fact that Warner Bros. has been saying JL would arrive in 2015 since they announced they were “waiting a bit” after Man of Steel back in July — here’s the money quote for me.

The studio already has a “Justice League” script in the works. Next it needs to attach a director and then cast the lead roles.
Wha?! They have a script? Well, they’re definitely going to make Justice League this time, unlike all the other times… when they also had scripts… and sometimes a director… and maybe some actors. But other than that, lookin’ good!
? Here’s the incredibly informative Iron Man 3 synopsis:

Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Wha?! Iron Man fights an enemy and must protect his friends? SPOILERS, PEOPLE! (Via /Film)

? Apparently the Lego Batman: The Movie is literally just the cut-scenes from Lego Batman 2: The Game. I don’t think I saw a second of new CG footage in there. Sigh. (Via Coming Soon)
