Fringe Fans Can Find Some Serenity in This Clip

Awesomely self-deprecating commercials aside, Fox has gone and relegated Fringe to same the Friday night time slot that has helped kill so many of the Network’s cult shows. Hoping that history doesn’t repeat itself, YouTube user Gualcit created this video that gives the Fringe opening credits a Serenity makeover as a cautionary tale about how network interference can shorten the lifespan of genre TV shows. Or at least I’m assuming that’s the message she was trying to get across, maybe she just likes juxtaposing stuff and realized that the Fringe’s first episode after the holiday break is called “Firefly.” Either way it will appeal to fans of both ratings-challenged series. (Hat tip to Seriable).
