When I played Minerva's Den, I was absolutely knocked on my ass. I loved BioShock 2, for sure, but the distilled power of the Den story shook me. I loved it. Almost as much as the original BioShock title.
Now, some ex-devs have formed together to create a new game. It looks and feels a little bit like Amnesia: The Dark Descent, but only insofar as it relies on exploration in a wholly first-person perspective. Just you and a dot for a cross-hairs.
And it is about exploration, an old mansion, and returning home. It's called Gone Home, and will be releasing in the distant future. Enjoy this pre-alpha gameplay teaser.
