It's Vita launch week, and while we haven't gotten our hands on one yet, we're dying to do so. The launch got us thinking that here's yet another gadget with Wi-Fi. I'm kind of a cheap guy, so if and when I pick up a Vita, it'll likely be the Wi-Fi only model rather than the 3G. My Vita will then join the ranks of my 3DS and my Android Tablet in my growing army of Wi-Fi only online gadgets.

So what to do if you're a cheapy like me who doesn't want to pay for 3G data packages? Bring your Wi-Fi with you!
I've got one of these Belkin Dual-Band Wireless Travel Routers, which retails for about $80. Anywhere there's a hard internet connection, you can plug it in and create your own personal wireless network, complete with password protection. Simply plug it in, enter the network info included with the router into your device, and you're set. I've had a handful of connection issues on spottier networks and obviously you can't use this to create a Wi-Fi network while you're, say walking down the street. But if you want to settle into a hotel room or coffee shop and get in some online gaming on your new Vita, your 3DS, your tablet or any other Wi-Fi device, this is a great little solution.

A great little solution that comes with its own carrying case, cord and power supply. Happy wireless gaming, y'all!
