Happy Friday, you wonderful people. I know I'm glad to see this weekend upcoming, how about you? I look forward to all the many hours of NFL I'll be able to watch, the many beers I'll drink, and (of course) the great many video games I'll be able to play.

My shelf is stacked with a whole lot of still packaged games. Some I need to review, some I bought in the hopes that I'd make time for them. Skyrim, Dark Souls, and The King Of Fighters VIII. And yet, I've found myself replaying Catherine and Shadows of the Damned. I love those games. Strong stories, people. Keeps you guessing, lots of surprises. I know a lot of you didn't buy them, but I'd highly recommend you go out and purchase. They didn't sell well, but it isn't because they were bad. It's because they were weird. And weird is good.

Anyway, all that may change when I get a call from my friends to play Gears of War 3 or Battlefield. Because remember when I said "weird is good"? Also, being social is good, too.

This all leads me to the point of this post. So many good choices, only two full days off work -- what are you going to spend your time on? What games are you going to be playing?

(also, recommendations are welcome!)
