Have you ever wanted to break into writing about games? Here's your chance.
We're looking for a few talented folks to join the team. As you've seen over the last few days, we've shifted to a focus on feature writing, so we're looking for people who want to contribute well-written, well-conceived longform pieces. We're also looking for commitment: anyone accepted into the JD team will be expected to contribute at least one piece per week by an assigned deadline.

We're looking for 2-3 writers to join our editorial team. Responsibilities include choosing topics for a weekly column and entering them into our blog software with images. These positions are unpaid, but come with some great benefits. First, publication in a professional outlet. Second, industry connections. Veterans from Joystick Division have gone on to write for larger outlets and jobs at major video game publishers. Third, free games! Should you be chosen to join our team, you'll also be offered regular opportunities to review games, the vast majority of which are provided by game publishers.
