Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Trailers Show Off Gallons of Gameplay

This probably isn't the first time you've heard this, but there's a new Zelda game coming out in a month. Additionally, most Zelda games have areas filled with (mostly) clever puzzles and (always) charming music. The following trailers have both (I guess, but I mostly like writing things in parenthesis).

The two trailers show off two areas in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword: The Ancient Cistern and Lake Floria. Both look like perfectly serviceable areas in a Zelda game. And, after 25 years of playing Zelda areas, we clearly could do with more levels that take place in lakes. Check both videos out after the jump.

Wow, Zelda games don't look any more formulaic than this one.

Not that we're complaining. After all, 25 years of greatness doesn't make the 26th and less great. Skyward Sword will likely be another grand addition to the wondrous series that brought us Ocarina of Time, and all those games that were effectively Ocarina of Time. And, now that we're nitpicking, Ocarina was maybe a 3D Link to the Past.

Anyway, we're gonna get in line for the release of Skyward Sword.
