We saw a dismally quiet week last week -- there was a quiet Fruit Ninja Kinect release (which, as you know, rocked) and a few here and there games but nothing particularly awesome for large swathes of people across the globe. This week, that changes quite a bit. This roster of games is hearty indeed.

First, Ignition's El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is finally released. It looks beautiful -- like a game that occasional faux-intellectual weirdos (like myself) are going to be writing masturbatory articles for a while yet. Then there's Bastion, for PC, which resonated like El Shaddai could on its Xbox 360 release. And No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise. Then there's Jerry Rice and Nitus' Dog Football, which takes Jerry Rice down a few notches in my book, even if it is miraculously incredible. Which is impressive, considering my football adoration.
