The Week In Games: Bastion And The Cartel

Supergiant's eye-catching new title, Bastion, will finally be making its digital debut this week. It's already been weighted down with prestigious award nominations -- Best Downloadable Game at E3 2011, Excellence in Visual Art and Excellence in Audio at the Independent Games Festival. So basically, there's hope that we've got another rich and brilliant novella on our hands, like Braid.

Outside of that, it's Call of Juarez: The Cartel, which boasts some inventive multiplayer modes and a controversial real life setting that might pique our interests, if it can do something no one else does. Also, DLC for Fallout: New Vegas and Left 4 Dead 2. Hit the link for the schedule.
