As I've told my editor, I like craft brews, or brews that taste nothing like horse piss. Give me Witterkerke and Kronenbourg 1664, please, and some snacks.

When I reviewed Schwa Techno Solutions' iOS app The Drunk Test last night, I was finishing my third pint of Sam Adams East-West Kolsch. I had to prep (ahem) for the test, which guesstimates one's blood alcohol content (BAC) after one tries the Drunkness Detector, a series of flashing lights.

I failed my first test miserably, earning a BAC of 0.20. Was it accurate, or was I a bad gamer? I'll accept the latter.

See? I'm fine. I think. I can't tell if this game or the beers gave me a hangover. Overall, I think The Drunk Test is a party game. However, do you really carry your iPad around at parties?

The Official Verdict: 3 out of 5
