HD remakes are the hot thing at this time in the seventh generation's tenure. We've seen many, many major franchises rebooted and re-released to the accommodating arms of the video game community, with still more on their way.

So, when Spanish retailer xtralife.es listed a mock-up of a Devil May Cry HD collection, the internet world began a-buzzin'. Could we see Dante & Co. tearing up our consoles, prettier and more chiseled than ever before? Well, it is a definite possibility, yes. But hold your horses for a minute, would ya?

According to the listing, it will be called Devil May Cry: 10th Anniversary Edition, and will include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening. There has been no word from Capcom, or anyone else for that matter, on the status of these games, but all signs point to "probably." Especially the quick removal of the game listing from the site's servers. That's usually a pretty good indicator that a leak has been plugged.

I mean, when was the last time a video game rumor like this happened and turned out to be patently false? Yeah, I can't remember either. We'll keep you posted as the information invariably arises.
