Anyway, it got a Cannes award.
Not to be confused with the film festival, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is basically the same thing, only for creative advertising.
Whether you loved it or hated it, chances are the Dead Island trailer (embedded below) at least got you talking. I mean, people spent more time dissecting that three minute clip than they do talking about some full games.
The advertisement was put together by Axis Animation and brought home the Gold award in the category of Internet Film. We think that's rad.
