Another zombie game? Yeah, that's overkill, alright. Although this game, The House of the Dead: Overkill, originally came out on the Wii in 2009. Sega's grindhouse-themed rail shooter garnered decent clips from the critics and won a Guinness World Record for most profane video game. Because that's certainly more interesting than longest fingernails or fattest twins. Hmm, that's the sort of digression you can't make in The House of the Dead: Overkill, since it's on rails, and everything.

Anyway, Sega's pumping a few more rounds into Overkill's rotting corpses with a PS3 port. The House of the Dead: Overkill -- Extended Cut turns the shy, overlooked Wii wallflower into a HD, 3D, Move-supported bombshell. At least that's probably what Sega hopes people will think after scrubbing up Overkill's visuals on the hard-charging PS3.
