You have to wear clothes. It's a sad fact of civilized life we all have to deal with on a daily basis.
But just because you have to wear clothes doesn't mean those clothes can't be awesome. You may have heard that we here at Joystick Division are kind of into this whole video game phenomenon. As such, we have a certain appreciation for clothing that mixes our favorite pastime with looking good.
Check out 10 of our favorite video game shirts after the break. And put some pants on while you're at it. You're scaring the children.
Beer Pong
I came to do two things: Drink some beer and play some games. This shirt gets that out in the open from the get-go. If you pick up on any dudes/ladies while wearing this particular T, they can't complain later when all you do is play video games and chug Fat Tire.
Cowbell Hero
I've got a fever. And the only prescription is more badass shirts.
Dead Space
Sporting a classy, simplistic design up front, the cleverness of this particular shirt is revealed on the flip side, showcasing a design similar to the life bar displayed on engineer Isaac Clarke's rig from the
Dead Space games.
OG: Original Gamer
For those snobbish gaming types who like to point out they've been playing since the 70s/80s, here's a way to let everyone know that fact without ever having to open your mouth. Being this frank about how big of a jerk you can be actually makes it pretty hilarious and, thus, acceptable.
Konami code
In the beginning, there was the code. And it was good.
Party time. Excellent.
What's better than a shirt that references one awesome thing? Hows about a shirt that references two awesome things? Here we have video games and
Wayne's World, all rolled into one excellent shirt.
Oregon Trail
For many gamers, it all began with the educational game (nay, experience) known as
Oregon Trail. Whether you were bored in the school library or playing as a special treat for being good in class, chances are you all died of dysentery.
Pac-Man
This shirt is equal parts rad and scientifically accurate.
Tetris
Is it a ridiculously cool gaming shirt or a mirror held up to the face of life, reflecting a truth so great it can only be portrayed in the simple, brutal image of falling blocks gone horribly wrong?
Oh no he didn't
Half of gaming is knowing how to trash talk. This shirt does a great job of doing that for us, and it's a hell of a lot more clever than anything we could have come up with on our own.
