LittleBigPlanet 2
launches next week and gamers everywhere now have one more reason to get super-dooper pumped for this magical toy box of wonder and creation.

Some folks are excited for the 50-plus new levels to explore. Others are stoked for all the new gadgets Sackboy can use to make platforming more fun. Still others can't wait to get their hands on all the new, simplified and highly sophisticated creation tools.

If you're like me, though, then you've got your sights firmly set on the most exciting day-one get of them all: Special content from Toyota.

Media Molecule announced yesterday that they have entered into a partnership with Toyota for some promotional goodies to be made available in LittleBigPlanet 2 once it releases Jan. 18.

Not only will LBP2ers be getting a free XMB theme to pimp their PS3's menu, but they'll also be able to snag a special Prius-themed level to run, jump and swing through. The level will be available for download once you boot the game up and, even better, it comes with free items to be used in your own LBP2 creations.

For those feeling a bit more creative, some "very cool prizes" will be awarded to those who use LBP2 to create the best advertising/gaming experience for the Earth-friendly hybrid. Make a commercial, post it for everyone to play, then wait for those cool prizes to start rolling in. It's that simple.
