| We can't make this stuff up |
If someone was kind enough to throw a cigarette butt in the toilette before you got there, that at least became sort of like a video game. Thankfully Sega has decided to take that concept to a whole new level in Japan, turning urinals into an actual gaming experience.
They're called "Toirettsu," and I'm pretty sure whatever pops into you mind whenever you read the words "toilette video game" isn't far off the mark from what these new games actually entail. (Off the mark. I kill me!)
Much like putting a target on the plastic strainers at the bottom of a urinal, the object of these games is to keep restrooms cleaner by forcing users to focus on a game that requires a stream to be guided into sensors at the bottom of the bowl. Achieving these goals wracks up points which, in turn, makes you feel like a badass for simply peeing.
No word yet on whether or not competitive or co-op games are in the pipeline. Also, how do you enter your initials for a high score? Also-also, can we please make this a standard feature in all toilets moving forward for commercial use, home use or otherwise?
