| Samurai Shodown and more, coming to PSN |
It's hard to complain, though, when a publisher like SNK Playmore announces they'll be bringing a "Neo Geo Station" to the PlayStation Network later this month. Click past the jump for a list of games and details on those sweet new features we mentioned.
If you're looking for a last-minute Christmas list addition, a PSN gift card might come in handy once the Neo Geo Station launches on PSN on Dec. 21. Titles will be made available for both the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Portable, setting you back $8.99 and $6.99 respectively.
More than just a re-release of Neo Geo classics, though, these bad boys will come equipped with online functionality, allowing you to play co-op or versus games without having to actually look at the person you're playing with. PSP versions will come with Ad-Hoc functionality, but sadly no infrastructure.
The initial launch will feature 10 games with Fatal Fury and Metal Slug available for PSP alongside their PS3 counterparts on Dec. 21. The remaining titles are expect to hit PSP sometime in January. The rest of the initial PS3 lineup consists of Alpha Mission II, Samurai Shodown, The King of Fighters '94, Magician Lord, Baseball Stars Professional, Art of Fighting, League Bowling and Super Sidekicks.
