And you thought Call of Duty: Black Ops was the most impressive Vietnam War first-person shooter to come out this year. Well, yeah, actually it probably is the most impressive... But this LittleBigPlanet 2 build is pretty radical, too.

It showcases the abilities of the game by making an almost fully-functional first-person shooter, flavored with some Vietnam War skins and explosive barrels. War has been many things, but I don't think its ever been painted quite this way. You'll have to hit the jump here to experience the video. You won't regret it, I promise.

LittleBigPlanet 2: Vietnam doesn't really allow the player to move backward or forward -- only laterally -- but the rest of the final product is rather amazing. Aside from being a neat spoof on the popular genre, the FPS really shows off what a remarkable game LittleBigPlanet 2 has already become. And much of it has to do with its ability to work with the gamer to maximize creativity.

Which you will see here. You've got your little "50" that pops up with each kill, a clacking AK-47, and swarms of enemies. All we need now is a hyper-machismo cutscene of Sackboy scraping a Charlie's brains off his boot and picking up an RPG. But, I don't know if LBP2 has that capacity yet. Anyway, enough out of me... on to the video!!
