LBP2: You can only build everything

​The potential for creation within Sony's upcoming Little Big Planet 2 really is starting to get a bit frightening. With everything from Pong to Wolfenstein 3D already built within the title, not to mention loads of generic space shooters, racers and more, it looks like the title will allow dedicated creators to build just about anything their heart desires.

 

Take the following video, for example. It highlights a Marvel vs. Capcom vs. PlayStation fighting title designed by beta tester POLLOIZARRARAZ43. I'm not kidding about the type of game this is, nor the guy's name.

 

While rough around the edges, you can't pretend this fighting game creation isn't impressive. Who knows what a full set of tools and a bit more time with the title might yield. For this particular game within a game, the player selects a fighter, a map, then gets to laying the smackdown on their opponent, complete with special moves and a powerful "revenge" counterattack.

 

Again, the characters are a bit limited in how they can move and behave, but it really is the thought (and amazing effort to create something like this) that counts. Kratos even throws his chain-blades, for crying out loud. How cool is that?
