| Mrs. Croft heats up the App Store |
Crystal Dynamics has announced that a version of its highly successful and critically hailed downloadable console title, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, is available starting today on the App Store.
An iPhone and an iPod touch version of the game are currently available, as well as an iPad exclusive HD option, taking advantage of the device's large, high resolution display.
Just like in the console versions, Lara and her partner in crime (if you consider saving the world a crime), Totec, are back in action to master environmental puzzles and pump lead into hundreds of bad guys, all available for single or co-op play.
"We're thrilled to bring the Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light App to iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users," said Crystal Dynamics General Manager Darrell Gallagher. "The controls have been optimized to take advantage of these amazing devices and the graphics are absolutely stunning."
Stunning, huh? We'll be the judge of that, Mr. Gallagher.
To check the game, err, App out for yourself, simply head on over to the Store and plop down $5.99.
