What would a lolnecromorph say?
As if two successful games, three graphic novels, a full-size regular novel, an animated feature, a questionable motion comic and an upcoming sequel weren't enough, the Dead Space Universe is about to get just a little bit bigger.

EA and Anchor Bay Entertainment recently announced that the two companies have joined forces for a second time, preparing to release a second Dead Space animated movie on January 25.

Titled Dead Space: Aftermath, this new film will be available the same day Dead Space 2 is scheduled to hit the market. With four internationally renowned animation directors at the helm, the film will tell four separate stories following the events of the first game as we discover what happened during the first-responder mission to Aegis VII. Our guess? Lots of people got torn to bits by Necromorphs.

In Aftermath, viewers will be taken aboard the USG O'Bannon, the ship sent to rescue any survivors of the USG Ishimura, the setting of the original Dead Space game. Once they arrived, crew members started acting funny and, wouldn't you know it, just about everyone got brutally murdered. The film will follow the four remaining members of the crew as they try to unravel the mysteries of the Marker and its tendency to make folks kill themselves, come back to life, mutate, then kill other people. Fun!
