Enjoy hell, friend-o
There may be justice in this world after all. Readers may recall a pair of stories from a couple weeks back highlighting the dastardly deeds of a man who was caught on camera stealing video game systems from a North Carolina hospital wing dedicated to children recovering from cancer treatment.

Well, after the surrounding community rose to the occasion of replacing the stolen consoles, it looks like the man responsible has been apprehended by local authorities.

On Friday, Dec. 17, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said warrants had been issued against a man by the name of Charles Everett Hinton for the charges of damage to property, burglary and larceny after burglary in relation to the ongoing case.

According to the police, Hinton, a convicted sex offender, has been identified as the man seen on camera stealing the game consoles. Thankfully, the center was closed during the time of the theft and no children were around to come in contact with Hinton during the incident.

While any recovered stolen consoles will likely be held as evidence as the case moves forward, Charlotte locals stepped up to donate dozens of consoles and games to the center, providing so many that patients in other wings of the hospital have even been able to get in on the gaming action. Most recently, Anthony Calandra and Matt Shor of ShoCal Repairs, a business specializing in Xbox repairs, donated their personal 360s to the cause. Very cool.
