Konami joins the Home space roster

​After a day of stuffing your face with turkey and, um, stuffing, chances are you're not feeling very active today. You likely also saw a great deal of your family yesterday, meaning your desire to remain unsocial throughout the weekend is probably pretty high.

 

For those suffering from a Thanksgiving overdose, Konami and PlayStation 3 have a way to keep you busy and virtually active without ever having to change out of your PJs.

 

Yesterday, while all the world (they celebrate Thanksgiving everywhere, right?) was gorging on pumpkin pie and watching some gridiron action, Konami revealed their all-new rooftop penthouse suite, available only in PlayStation Home.

 

This new space is designed to connect fans to Konami through several unique features including design nods to iconic Konami franchises, special shops, a custom cityscape, dedicated ranking boards and twitter feeds, one-of-a-kind mini-games and more.

 

To make getting to know the new space as easy as said pumpkin pie, a self-guided tour is available during a special open house event being hosted through the weekend, geared at showing off the spaces many features. One such highlight is the Dance Dance Revolution mini-game, where players can engage in Area Dance, Solo Dance-off and Group Dance-off game types.

 

Taking part in the various Konami events will earn players points, which can then be viewed within the space or on Facebook at any time. Taking part in various events planned throughout the year will also net players Konami points, which can then be traided in for special Home items from series like Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania, Silent Hill and more.
