Deck out your DS in Sesame Street swag

I know what you're thinking: I wish there was a way to play my favorite Nintendo handheld/gaming console while simultaneously being reminded of the joys of being a kid. Well, a couple new peripherals (because the Wii and DS totally need more peripherals) are here to grant your wish of childhood bliss.

 

First up is the Sesame Street DS enhancements being offered by dreamGEAR (their spelling, not mine.) Next up, we have a special edition Wii-mote for those who want something to play with while playing their games. (I assure you it is less dirty than it sounds.)

 

LEGO recently revealed its new do-it-yourself peripheral, a fully functioning Wii-mote made of, you guessed it, LEGOS.

 

Sporting "classic" LEGO colors, these Wii-motes allow you some creativity in how the final controller will actually look as several pieces can be removed and clicked into place wherever your heart desires. Feel free to change things up while you wait for your game to load or contemplate life within the pause menu.
