Here's some Pilgrimian downloadable content!

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, the underground manga smash hit, turned movie, turned (obviously) video game, is set to receive its first batch of DLC.

During Upisoft's recent Digital Day event, the publisher announced the side-scrolling beat-em-up/old school throwback mentioned above would receive some DLC content in November, set to coincide with the film's video release.

The additions include a new character and new game modes. Wouldn't you know it, we've got details on both!

For those who couldn't get enough of the game's countless classic gaming homages and face-wrecking  action, the content will include Knives Chau (17 years old) as a new playable character. Don't remember who Knives is? She's Pilgrim's scorned ex-girlfriend, the one who he cheated on with Ramona (bastard!).

Along with Knives, the DLC will include two new game modes: Arena Battle and Dodgeball. According to the press release, Arena Battle will feature weapons and play like a "lite version of Super Smash Bros." while Dodgeball is...well...pretty self explanatory.

Even better, the asking price is just $1.99 (160 MP).

In addition to the downloadable content, Ubisoft is issuing a patch that will overhaul many of the game's problems. Bugs are to be eliminated, the difficulties will be tweaked, and drop-in/drop-out multiplayer will become a reality (Finally!). Other tweaks include making the "average joe" difficulty a little more average joe-y.

Sadly, Ubsoft also stated there are no current plans to add online multiplayer to the game.
