Kinect launching with bunches of games

​With the Nintendo Wii still selling like gangbusters and Playstation's Move controller having a strong post-launch showing, the final visitor to the motion-controlled party, Microsoft's Kinect, is set to launch in just a few short weeks.

 

On Nov. 10, players the world over will finally get their hands on (or off, really) Microsoft's controller-free offering. But what good is a new piece of gaming hardware without the games to back it up? 

Microsoft, along with several publishers from across the industry, have 19 titles planned for the November launch window.

 

For those planning to pick up Kinect, be sure to jump after the break to find out what you'll be playing. While it's nice to see so much support, something has to be said about the utter lack of variety here. But, hey, if you really like mini-games, dancing and getting in shape, and you don't already own a Wii, your dreamboat is about to set sail.

 

Kinect Adventures (Nov. 10)

This one comes bundled with every Kinect, so get ready for a series of mini-games that has you floating in space, riding down the rapids and more.

 

Kinectimals (Nov. 10)

Ever wanted to pet zee tiger? Kinectimals lets you feed, play with and harass a digital pet of your very own.

 

So precious. Then, in five years, it turns on you.

Aside from having the longest name in the history of ever, HPATDHP1TV has earned the nickname "Gears of Potter," due to its on-rails, cover-based shooting mechanics.

Game Party: In Motion (Nov. 26)

A compilation of mini-games based on real life activities like dodgeball, baseball, etc.

 

Dance Central (Nov. 10)

You dance. It's all pretty much right there in the title.

 

Like real dancing, but without the embarassment of going to the club

​Your Shape: Fitness Evolved (Nov. 10)

No relation to Halo: Combat Evolved, Your Shape has you bending, stretching and flexing your way to sexiness.

The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout (Nov. 10)

EA Sports Active 2 (Nov. 19)

Pretty much the same thing as the previous two, only this one includes a heart rate monitor.
