| Now there are even more ways to kill Greek gods! |
So there you are, sitting at your computer, still somehow unfamiliar with the GoW franchise.
"But Joystick Division," we hear you say. "I just can't figure out how these silly disc things work. I love to play video games, but if it can't be downloaded, I just can't be bothered with it."
Not to worry, discafobic readers, for we're here to let you know all of your ancient Greece god-murdering fantasies in digital form are soon to be realized.
Sony yesterday announced that the God of War Collection is headed to the PlayStation Network Nov. 2, giving gamers a chance to download the HD remakes without having to bother with physical tomfoolery.
Whether these digital copies of God of War and God of War II will be made available together or separately (or maybe even both) remains to be seen. There's also no word on the pricing. It is known, however, that none of the special features from the Blu-ray version of the collection will be a part of the digital package.
Still, that's a small price to pay for not having to actually touch one of those shiny, deadly discs. Nothing should be that round. I'm just saying.
