Fans of four-player vampire murdering received an extra dose of awesome over the weekend as Konami released some new downloadable content for the Xbox Live Arcade exclusive Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.

The press release touts this as the "first" pack of downloadable content to be released for the title, so I'm going to risk reading too far into things and assume this means even more content is headed down the pipeline.

But why waste time with speculation when you've got a pyramid to ransack and mummies to slaughter?

That's right, this DLC has you swapping a good old fashioned castle in favor of a pyramid with all new enemies to whip and stab your way through, including a lady-boss by the name of Ashtarte, who apparently wants to devour your soul.

This new DLC, titled "Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire," is now available for just 400 Microsoft spacebucks.
