The video games industry isn't exactly know for its well-kept secrets.
If new DLC or a shiny new piece of hardware is on the way, no matter how tightly under wraps somebody might want to keep it, there's almost always a leak or two along the way to the official reveal.
After weeks of whispers and insider tips claiming Nintendo was cooking up a new controller (like this leaked box we reported on here), The Big N has finally confirmed that its new Wii controller, the Wii Remote Plus, is an actual piece of hardware that is going to be sold at some point in the future.
See, Nintendo. It wasn't that hard, was it?
Not much about the device has been revealed other than that it will come with Plus technology already built in and be provided in a variety of colors, perfect for matching your favorite gaming outfits. In short, you won't have to buy the clip-on Plus attachment anymore.
Nintendo has promised to release more information (like, say, a release date) on their official websites at a later time, but chances are you'll get all of said details in the form of countless rumors in the weeks leading up to their "official" announcements.
Hooray internets!
