The world of free-to-play MMORPGs is becoming a vast and varied landscape and, soon, War of Angels will be joining those ranks.

In order to get the game ready for the American masses, though, gamigo's latest offering is primed to enter into a closed beta and, wouldn't you know it, they're looking for players. The beta actually begins (checks watch) today.

That's where you fine readers come in.

According to gamigo, War of Angels has undergone a complete overhaul in preparation for the closed beta, revamping the graphics and gameplay to be tailored for players in the Western world while maintaining its Oriental charm.

As I said, there are a lot of MMOs out there. So what, exactly, does this one offer?

War of Angels is set to launch with all the usual trimmings, plus a couple unique features to set it apart from the pack.

This free title will feature 3D graphics, four classes with specializations, the ability to be good or evil, PvE and PvP play, quests for single player and parties, guilds and the ability to take the fight into the air, under the sea or on land.

Players can let loose with their own wings or hop on a Pegasus to soar to new heights, or dive to the furthest depths to uncover hidden dungeons full of traps, riddles and loot.
