Some of you Xbox players may have heard about this little downloadable title called Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. I understand it's a pretty big deal.
You PlayStation 3 and PC gamers may have also heard said title will be dropping on your gaming rig of choice come Sept. 28 for fifteen smackers. Also a pretty big deal.
Well, no matter how you play the game, Crystal Dynamics is planning to keep you busy through the end of the year in the form of five downloadable add-ons.
From October to December, the Guardian of Light universe will expand in two ways. The first three bits of extra downloadable content will add new puzzles, exploration and combat to the game, as well as brand new areas to explore.
The final two packs will feature new playable characters, giving gamers the chance to experience The Guardian of Light as "other well-known videogame characters." (Imagines Crystal Dynamics CEO evilly twisting his handlebar mustache.)
It should also be noted that, like the Xbox version of the game, the PS3 and PC iterations will only feature local co-op upon release. Online co-op is also scheduled to be released at "a later date."
You may make guesses as to who these new playable characters might be beginning...Now.
