The first change is the most obvious: the combat. With a sweeping, dynamic camera, beating enemies with McGrath's new lighting-charged weapon stole the majority of the show.
Read what else has changed to InFamous after the jump.
If the first InFamous was a game about a character discovering his power and abilities (it was), the the sequel is about the character's mastery of them. The four playable minutes controlling McGrath felt less magnetic and more natural; as if the mechanics had matured to understand who was in charge.
The first game had Cole automatically move towards a climbable surface when he jumped; anticipating what the player wanted him to do and made him float from one platform to another. This game felt as if those training wheels came off. Cole is now much more in control of his acrobatic actions.
InFamous 2 is scheduled to come out later next year.
