Asura's Wrath, Capcom's latest original IP, was just announced at TGS, and it looks to be a brawler version of Heavy Rain...?
While it's too early to really judge what kind of game Asura's Wrath is, it's not common to show button commands in a debut trailer. Others will traditionally reveal the main character and a few shots to give players a sense of the game's environment, but Asura's Wrath debut tells players to move the analog sticks to dodge attacks. This tells that similar mechanics will be prominent in the game.
Other major features in the Asura's Wrath trailer is its East Indian feel and burnt red color scheme. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
Asura's Wrath is being developed by Cyber Connect 2; the company behind the .Hack franchise. .Hack was an RPG series set in an MMO universe; something very different from what this game looks like. Not much else is known about the game that isn't in the trailer, but look back here and we'll let you know when more info is available.
