Braid's Story Retold Through the Medium... of Interpretive Dance!

If there's one thing we didn't like about Braid, it's that the story was too simple. Too sensible. Too easy to figure out. If only that dull, straightforward storyline could be presented in a form that was a little more abstract... a little more ambiguous.

A form such as... interpretive dance.

All joking aside, we're kind of surprised that this 69 minute dance performance by the (Parker, CO) Chapparal High School Alumni Theatre manages to be even less comprehensible than the hit indie game it's based on. Maybe if we'd spent our youths studying dance instead of studying video games we'd be able to appreciate it better. As it is, we just like the familiar music and sound effects, and try to filter out all that movement and stuff.

We've embedded the performance -- all ten parts -- as a playlist after the break, and if you can make it though the whole thing, you have a better tolerance for this stuff than we do.
