They many not be official, but they're awesome!

Marvel Vs. Capcom still has surreal moments, pitting, say, Iron Man against Ryu or Magneto against Dhalism. Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe is an odd yet addictive crossover, too, because Scorpion can incinerate Batman, Supes, and Wonder Woman.

But the weirdest fighting game crossovers aren't sanctioned. Not at all. They come from the fantasies of game designers using MUGEN, a freeware game engine. Consider it the root cause of all this beautiful randomness. Here are 10 completely strange, completely unofficial fighting game crossovers that are worth checking out (and downloading if you're savvy).

10) Flash Vs. Everyone

This is an utterly absurd montage of the Scarlet Speedster getting whipped by characters from Guilty Gear, Street Fighter, Metal Gear, etc. We think Faust's nuclear blast comes out on top here.

9) Deadpool & Ash Vs. Bulleta & Robocop

We really don't know what's going on either, but it's apparent that Robocop is no match for the Book of Dead. Does Bulleta call that fighting?

8) Mortal Kombat vs Homer and Peter

Homer and Peter are reliable partners in MUGENdom. Peter is useless in this matchup, though. Homer meets his end after an ill-timed hamburger break, getting the brunt of Scorpion's fatality.

7) Predator Hunter Vs. Osama Bid Laden

Rumor has it that Osama's hard to beat. Figures ... but this bounty hunter gets the drop on him.

6) Freddy Krueger Vs. Michael Jackson

"How sweet, fresh meat" takes on a whole new meaning. This is the first and only time you'll see MJ and Freddy dance together.
