| The Kinect gets priced and bundled up all snug with a console. |
The bundle will include the camera and a copy of Kinect Adventures, the Wii Sports-esque compilation title from Microsoft's Good Science Studio.
In addition to the Kinect pricing, Microsoft also announced a new console bundle which features the Kinect, the game, and a new version of the updated Xbox 360 console. This console features 4GB of internal memory and is the new replacement for the 360's baseline unit, the Arcade. The bundle will retail for $300.
There's more about the new console and game pricing, so read on.
The new version of the Arcade console will be available on its own for $200, and has an expansion bay that will allow for additional storage to be added on (the new versions of the 360 aren't compatible with the detachable hard drives of the older machines). The new consoles will look identical to the recently released 250 gig machines, albeit with a matte finish.Microsoft also announced pricing for Kinect's games today as well. First-party Kinect titles will retail for $49.99, as will Harmonix's Dance Central. It's fair to assume that third-party Kinect games will follow suit.
