In my ongoing pursuit of truly delightful iPhone/iPod Touch games I recently happened to stumble upon a wonderfully fresh and original title. Said title (as I'm sure you already know from the picture and post title) is TILTtoLIVE -- a simple, clean, and elegant game with a deliciously competitive edge.

The gameplay consists of moving your little cursor (ship?) around via the accelerometer and popping weapon bubbles that attack your red dot enemies. It's conceptually simple yet extremely engrossing -- a formula that has proven its self time and time again dating all the way back to the original Pong (although it isn't quite that simple).

Mixing the addictive gameplay with a superb leaderboard system called AGON only increases the ever-present urge to play. AGON works much like Xbox Live leaderboards in terms of having the option to look at worldwide scores, or just between you and your friends. A fun little addition is the ability to check the scores of those around you by allowing your device to use your location. Honestly I've yet to find anybody around me with a score, but the game is still young so there may be hope for that feature yet.

At the time of purchase I paid $0.99 for this App, a price so small for a value so large that it almost makes me feel like a criminal. Almost. I do however seem to recall this being some kind of promotional price, so get it while you can my friends, before someone realizes its real value!
