Joystick Division (and just about every other gaming news outlet) was buzzing about the firing of Infinity Ward executives Jason West and Vince Zampella last week, especially Activision's mysterious charge of "insubordination". We had to wonder: What is insubordination at Activision, and how often are people fired for it?Intrepid reporter Gary Hodges asked the hard questions, but what were the answers? I'll bet they're surprising! (Click to embiggen.)

Posted 03/11/2010 at 10:06:26 AMYour web-server configuration is messed up and is sending the "Content-Type:text/plain" server-header along with this page. That means that web-standards compliant browsers like some versions of Firefox will display this page as its source-code text rather than interpreting the HTML.
Posted 03/11/2010 at 01:23:14 PMI bet EA will be laughing at this with Zampella and Jason...
Posted 03/16/2010 at 01:59:30 AMEither don't make it an infographic or make up reasons that could possible apply to more than one person. 30% fired for making the same exact witty remark... I get the joke I just don't get why there's a pie chart. Make stuff make sense.
Posted 03/31/2010 at 01:03:36 AMYou're totally right. In fact, next time I'll actually poll people for real, too, because this is serious business.

Posted 05/02/2010 at 11:30:08 PMI'm sure it's a funny concept to create pseudo-reasons for being fired from Activision, but that was just awful. Simply terrible execution. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.
