I am no big fan of Transformers. Unlike a lot of nerds, I apparently have no nostalgia gene - stuff that I loved as a kid typically holds no interest for me as an adult. And everything I've experienced related to the Transformers franchise as a an adult was horrible. So when I say that I'm kind of excited for the Transformers: War for Cybertron game, it's because it looks fun.

The new trailer above has a few (brief) snippets of action, but they're enough to get me interested. I've liked - but not loved - both of developer High Moon Studios previous two games (The Bourne Conspiracy and Darkwatch), so their name on the project adds another layer of interest. Besides, even if i don't love the Transformers per se, I do love giant fighting robots.
