As seen on GeekWeek, this controller pic was snapped in Japan, where the replacement for the Wii's terrible classic controller has hit the market. This best be coming here, Nintendo.

UPDATE: So this is apparently the Classic Controller Pro, and it's been available in Japan for months now. Thanks to Dread fro pointing this out. As for me, Ball = Dropped. Sorry guys.

Replacement? That IS a Classic Controller. It's just the Classic Controller PRO and it's been available for months.

Yeah, I've seen it in a couple of shops as well.

This has been out here in Ireland since the middle of last summer, maybe even earlier. Does this mean that Europe has gotten something before the US? Finally?!

Don't worry, Anton. The person who wrote the original GeekWeek article clearly had no idea what they were talking about. The Classic Controller PRO was released in Japan in August and it cannot be used to play GameCube games. And it hasn't been exclusive to Japan since November when it was released in Europe.

I registered with TypePad just so I could point out the author's mistakes. Couldn't help myself.
