My resolutions this year include wasting less time on the virtual nes website and get my stinking real nes hooked up, obtaining a subscription to Gamefly so I stop wasting money on games that I only play through once (I'm looking at you Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, No More Hereos, and Ghostbusters: The Video Game), convince my wife that a Playstation 3 is a good investment (you know, for the kids we may have some day) and to finally quit smoking.

My resolution is to play all the games I have missed. I have been deployed for over 6 months, so that means I haven't played...Batman AA, ODST, MW2, Dragon Age, Lego Rock Band, Beatles Rock band (rock band I will play with my son), New Super Mario Brothers, Uncharted 2, plus the other 20 games I haven't had time to play. Not mention that my Xbox live account has grown stale, and I now need to start my MW2 journey.
My new year's resolution is to remember that it is not cool to play L4D2 for immensely long sessions and then go to an actual amusement park. When the clowns starting piling out of the miniature car I seriously thought the AI Director was completely screwing me over.
One resolution in two parts. First get both Uncharted 1 & 2 and finally play them. Seen the videos, played a demo, why I have not already purchased them is beyond me. And secondly to go back and play thru Gran Tourismos of past in preparation for number 5. If there is a driving game, or game in general I take seriously, it is the Gran Tourismo brand. Nothing beats a good racing/driving game in my book. Though it does lead to interesting situations when driving in real life, restraint is needed to not fly down the highway, drifting through all turns, and basically breaking the driving laws of all 50 states.
You know how this goes. Winner after the break!
Another tough choice this week, but I'm going to have to go with Shawn, for his pledge to both play some great games and to disfigure himself in a comical way!

I resolve to finish that backlog of RPGs and SRPGs that I have. Dragon Quest 8, Suikoden V, La Pucelle, Phantom Brave, Brave Story, FFVII: Crisis Core and Tales of Vesperia. (this year was spent on Xenosaga I, II & III, Grandia III, Persona 3 and god knows what else) They're not even mostly CURRENT games! It's stuff I bought years ago and never got around to playing them. Once I finally make myself finish all of them, I'll tattoo "Don't buy an RPG if you don't have TIME for it, you freaking idiot" in reverse on my forehead so that I can remind myself every morning when I look at myself in the mirror.
Then again, Resonance of Fate and FFXIII are coming soon....
sigh.
I'm weak.

Another good answer from SPEDTeacher, but he won last week. I'll finally mail your prize tomorrow, I promise.
