Over the weekend, another game convention finished up: QuakeCon. Some of what came out of QuakeCon was downright embarrassing. Other things are downright awesome, like this trailer for Rage. I've enjoyed id's games in the past, but until I saw this trailer I wasn't too interested in Rage, primarily because of the driving/racing aspect. Now that I've seen this trailer, I'm fully on board. Rage looks like a beautiful combination of Fallout 3, Quake and Full Auto (which was a solid concept although not an amazing game). Rage has moved onto my "Games to Watch" list.
