Wet: Filled With Rage

Here's a look at the Rage mode from WET, the action title picked up by Bethesda. Rage mode is apparently Bullet Time, only with a red and black overlay. Now, I love Bethesda's RPGs, as anyone who remembers my 9,000 posts about Fallout 3 can attest. But why they chose to pick up WET I just don't understand. I look at this video and see a glitchy, derivative action game (why can she slide down stairs?). What do you think? Am I missing something? Does this game look cool to you?

I kinda like the look of Rage Mode, but the gameplay looks pretty tedious. And I can tell I'd find the music and camera exhausting in no time at all.
Posted 07/13/2009 at 05:15:24 PMI've never heard of this game and don't know what it's about, but I'm going to assume it takes place in a digital/not-real world because of the people dissolving upon their death. Maybe that's why she can slide down stairs.
I like the look of it, very noir. Maybe it will get better.
