9 of the Best Actresses to Tackle Potential Video Game Roles

Hollywood is always prying its head into the video game industry in an attempt to poach some of our favorite stories for their own personal and unoriginal profit. And since they've begun, we've seen plenty of bad video games movies, but none that stand out in all elements. The women in this article, coupled with an amazing film crew (who aren't Uwe Boll or his friends or any type of associate of his) could potentially make a decent and enjoyable flick. And if not, we can just collect ourselves and write terrible reviews of them (as usual). But you're not here to listen to me rant about Hollywood, you're here for the ladies:(*DISCLAIMER: The 9 actresses and their video game counterparts are not the only potentially amazing matches out there. They are however all each incredible actresses and matched with the right character could do a great job in a video game movie. Alyx Vance // Rosario Dawson

Rosario Dawson can play anyone she wants and do a damn fine job. Given she not only looks the part of Alyx, but has the talent to pull it off. If a Half-Life movie were to be made, she'd be our first pick!

She's beautiful, charming, talented and given the chance could kick ass as Farah. That is of course if only they weren't already filming the Prince of Persia movie!!! Oh well, we can always hope for a sequel.

Cortana // Zoe Saldana

Her roles as sassy, authoritative women is one that could work well for her in a role as Cortana. While the fate of the Halo movie itself is unknown, the thought of a little blue Zoe bossing me around gives me a warm fuzzy feeling deep down.

There is no doubt Jessica Alba will be one of many pretty, young, and desired ladies to be approached for the role of Samus in a Metroid film (if it ever actually gets made). While Alba might not be the greatest actress in the world, we don't expect her to be winning any oscars for this role, just making our movie experience as pleasurable as possible.

I love Natalie Portman, but i don't want Star Wars and Zelda to have anything is common...
Silly list. Charlize Theron sucked in Æon Flux, which is the closest she has been to a game adaptation, and Jessica Alba just sucks in general. Even if she wore a suit for the whole film, she could ruin it. Natalie Portman as Zelda? No way - ever! But I doubt they will ever get anyone to put on an elf suit to play Link anyway. Maybe Johnny Depp.

And I do like Natalie Portman, but I'd much rather see Diane Kruger as Zelda.
