Welcome to another edition of Weekly Fan Art. This week's entry on the Metal Gear Solid is downright restrained compared to last week's Mortal Kombat entry, which is somewhat odd given the downright bonkers nature of the Metal Gear series. If you've never played it, the Metal Gear Solid series is about a super-soldier names Solid Snake - kinda. He actually only stars in two of the four games. I'm not even going to try to explain it. Let's just look at some pictures, 'kay?
So Solid Snake is a badass cigarette-smoking soldier who's routinely sent on "sneaking missions." He's also apparently a huge jerk. Take a look at the picture above. Who wears footie pajamas with the words "Ninja Man" written on them? That's right, children. Snake beat up a kid. Asshole.
Snake may be a dickhead, but there's one thing he's not: a ballet dancer with a beer belly. Despite what it says, this guy is not Solid Snake. Looks more like Al from Home Improvement to me.
Jeff says Metal Gear Solid 3 was "Game ov tha year!" Well, if Jeff said it, it must be true. I think Jeff is the one with the blonde 'fro and tiny Wolverine claws.
Ah, another week of Fan Art, another attempt by a Sonic fan to make his favorite series look less shitty. Or maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way. Maybe Sonic fans are trying to make other games look more shitty. Evening the playing field, so to speak. It's not bad logic. I certainly won't play any game with fucking Sonic in it.
And here's a picture of Snake as a lion for some reason! I can't even begin to speculate what kind of fucked up logic went into this drawing. What makes it worse is that the same artist did every major character from the games for some reason. Let's all just back away quietly.
Say hello to Psycho Mantis, star of one of the best boss fights in history. You know what made it so cool? He leaves to go through some girls's "pantie drawer" halfway through. Not really.
Yeah... I don't know what to even say about this one, mostly because I don't know any Harry Potter jokes. I'm a straight adult male, you see. Are there goblins in Harry Potter? Just pretend there's a goblin joke here. I'm tired of doing all the work. You people can help out for a change, dammit.
So yes, one of the trademarks of the MGS series is that Snake can hide in boxes. But sweet fancy Jesus, how big would a tampon box have to be for Snake to fit inside it? Does this artist think the Metal Gear games take place in a world with giant women who have a heavy flow? Or is Snake's snake so solid that his lover's vagina's are forever ruined. That's right, penis joke. I went there. So did our next artist.
Yup, there you go. Blowjob humor. Hey, it's Weekly Fan Art. It always gets a little sexy up in this piece. I mean, how can you not want a piece of this guy?
Check him out. Only one word to say: Hot.
I've always suspected that Otacon (the Q to Snake's James Bond) wanted him some Snake. Snake, however, is apparently not having it. Maybe he should have left his clothes on then, the tease. Love can, in fact, bloom on a battlefield.
And let's leave you with Raikov, a minor character from MGS3. Raikov is rare in that he's a video game character who's pretty explicitly gay, so this little bit of homoerotica make more sense than some of the others that have shown up on this column. I'm ending on this one because, well... just look at him. Pretty hot, huh? Don't you want a piece of that. Col. Raikov challenges your sexuality. Pleasant dreams, folks.
